FIP Treatment Must-Knows

  • What should I feed my cat during the treatment?
    During FIP treatment, you should feed your cat freshly cooked fish, chicken, or other natural foods. However, if your cat develops diarrhea, switch to dry cat food for a few days until the symptoms improve.

How long is the treatment?

The standard FIP treatment duration is 12 weeks.
However, the actual length may vary depending on several factors, such as:

  • How your cat responds to the treatment
  • The stage of FIP when treatment begins
  • Your personal financial situation

As a result, some cases may require closer monitoring and dosage adjustments.

  • Can GS-441524 be used with other medications?
    Yes, GS-441524 works as an antiviral treatment and can be combined with certain supportive medications to improve overall health.

However, you should avoid using the following:

 

  • Can Interferon be used for FIP treatment?
    Interferon helps reduce FIP symptoms by regulating the immune response.
    However, it does not treat the FIP virus itself and cannot cure the disease.
    For this reason, it should only be considered as supportive care, not a primary treatment.
  • What else should I know?
  • As your cat recovers, its appetite will improve and weight gain will occur naturally.
    Therefore, weigh your cat weekly and adjust the dosage when necessary.
  • In addition, work closely with your veterinarian to monitor potential complications, such as liver or kidney issues and secondary infections.

 

Injection Treatment

  1. How much GS is in a vial?
    Each vial contains ≥8 ml of solution.

  2. Why offer 2 concentrations?
    Higher concentrations are suited for larger cats or cats with severe FIP symptoms.

  3. How much and how often should I inject?
    You should administer injections once daily, based on your cat’s body weight, throughout the full 12-week treatment period.

  4. How to calculate the appropriate dosage?
    Use our dosage calculator for precise measurements. Avoid reducing the dosage during treatment to prevent viral resistance to GS.

  5. How should I store the vials?
    Store vials at room temperature (25°C or 77°F), away from direct sunlight.

Shipping & Custom Clearance

  1. How long does shipping take?
    • 1–3 working days to most Asian countries, including the Middle East.
    • 1–3 working days to major Cities.
    • 5–7 working days to remote areas.
  2. Can you ship to all countries?
    No. Due to legal and logistical restrictions, we cannot ship to every country.
    However, contact us if you cannot complete a purchase, and we will assist where possible.
  3. How quickly are orders shipped?
    • 95% of orders are shipped within 24 hours.
    • 5% may take up to 3 days due to holidays (Christian, Hindu, Islamic, and Chinese festivals).
  4. How can I track my shipment?
    After your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a DHL tracking number. You can then track your order directly on DHL.com.
  5. Do you handle customs clearance?
    • Yes: We provide all necessary import documents to the shipping agent.
    • No: Local customs may request additional documents. Contact us for assistance if needed.
  6. What documents might customs require?
    DHL may ask for an invoice or payment receipt. Contact us before submitting any documents, as we may help you save on import taxes.
